A fresh wave of creativity is rising from the gentle ripples of Dragonfly Lake, where water meets wonder and art mingles with atmosphere. On April 19th at 12 PM SLT, a brand-new immersive art installation space is set to open its doors — and its heart — to the public: “KOEXISTENZ”. This collaborative masterpiece by Eta and Jos is graciously hosted on the enchanting shores of Dragonfly Lake, thanks to Carla Heartsong.
But this isn’t just another gallery. It’s an invitation to dive into the beauty of contrast, the art of overlap, and the harmony that emerges when two distinct currents flow side by side.
“Koexistenz”, which means coexistence in German, perfectly encapsulates this experience: the simultaneous presence of different systems, often coexisting peacefully, sometimes independently, and occasionally colliding in the most beautiful ways.
Eta’s artwork, much of which has remained hidden until now, is both personal and ever-evolving. From real-life snapshots like urban graffiti to visuals born in Second Life, each piece is layered — both literally and metaphorically — with depth, movement, and meaning. Some works radiate kinetic energy, while others resonate with a quiet stillness.
There’s no strict theme here, just the raw essence of creative curiosity. Each piece stands alone, yet together, they create a world where differences don’t separate — they dance.

From the abstract to the oddly intimate, these titles alone hint at the textures of a mind unafraid to explore — and share — its inner worlds.
Beneath this visual feast lies a structural narrative. Over the past few months, Eta and Jos have navigated the twists and turns of Blender, overcoming challenges to bring this build to life. The outcome? A gallery that’s not just a vessel for art, but an integral part of the artwork itself.

While Jos took charge of shaping the physical space — creating a building as distinctive as the vision it holds — Eta infused the walls with life through ambient touches, playful “blobs”, lighting, and floating ornaments that reflect the beautiful chaos of creativity.

Both share a deep passion for PBR (physically based rendering), crafting visuals that boast rich textures and lifelike details. Sure, your graphics card might groan a bit, but don’t worry: there’s a handy Graphics Preference Guide and Environment Picker right at the entrance — making sure everyone can find their perfect visual setup.

A huge shoutout goes to Carla Heartsong, the kind-hearted visionary behind Dragonfly Lake. Without her generosity and willingness to share her land, “Koexistenz” would have remained just a dream. Thanks to her, it now has a home — and a heartbeat.
To celebrate this grand opening, DJ Verdant Homewood will create a soundscape as intricate and layered as the exhibit itself. Get ready for deep vibes, textured rhythms, and a musical journey that will guide you gently — or powerfully — through the experience.
A heartfelt thank you to ᴡᴠᴘ (traci.ultsch) for crafting the beautiful poster/flyer for “KOEXISTENZ”. Your work truly embodies the spirit of this art space and enhances the overall experience. We’re incredibly thankful for your talent and support in helping us realize our vision.
💡 Use midnight windlight settings and set your draw distance generously. This is a place best enjoyed at a leisurely pace — let your eyes roam and your mind wander.
So, whether you’re drawn in by the art, the architecture, the music, or the sheer magic of it all — come as you are. Koexistenz asks nothing of you, except for your presence.
Let the coexistence begin.
Let art breathe. Let differences shine.
And above all, let yourself feel.
With rhythm, light, and layered love,
