Ava Kungler has built a solid reputation in Second Life for her exceptional jewelry design. With this new exhibition, she pushes creative boundaries by deconstructing her acclaimed pieces—necklaces, rings, bracelets—and transforming them into an immersive art installation. The result? Kunglers in SL has become a destination for both statement and casual jewelry—offering a diverse range of options, from ethnic to fantasy, and from casual to high glamour. The echoes of the Second Life 22nd Birthday celebration still linger. Among the many highlights, one performance truly showcased the power of virtual art: Tia Rungray’s “Piano & Noise” at SL22B. For those who experienced it, it was a breathtaking event where music, art, and innovation came together in a mesmerizing way.
Tia Rungray (Takayuki Noami), an extraordinary pianist and composer from Tokyo, Japan, presented a set that went beyond simple sound. His “Piano & Noise” performance featured delicate melodies and immersive textures. It created a dreamlike space that moved the audience deeply.
The moon has risen and set, again and again. Now I too find myself amidst the ghostmarch.
Those “you” once beheld— Their footsteps hold no Fountainhead I can name.
At the outer shell of day and night, There lies an end: A hollow place, barren of all things.
Beyond the emptimythia— There, let us meet once more.

The Setlist: A Poetic Journey Here’s a look at the journey Tia Rungray took us on:
Specimens of Ghost As we start our journey, we enter a realm where existence is observed. The flow of time carries all forward. Our first piece invites you to witness the unseen, the persistent presence of what remains. Please listen to “Specimens of Ghost.”
Improvisation “Moon Light” The moon has risen and set countless times, guiding us through cycles of light and shadow. In this next piece, Tia Rungray captures the gentle glow and deep silence of lunar nights. Get ready to drift with the improvisational beauty of “Moon Light.”
Improvisation “Footsteps” In the tapestry of time, every step leaves an echo, a trace of what once was. Even those we knew well can vanish, leaving only memories of their passage. This improvisation explores the echoes of journeys taken and paths diverged. Listen closely to “Footsteps.”
Fountainhead From where do our paths arise? What source feeds our being? Sometimes, the wellspring is hard to define. This piece dives into that mystery, searching for the elusive source. This is “Fountainhead.”
What Color? In a world where structures and perceptions create our reality, we often ask, “What Color?” What shades do we see when light bends through our understanding of good and evil, chaos and order? This piece explores the range of perception beyond simple binaries. Here is “What Color?”
No One Accepts Me Navigating the complex currents of life, there are times when we feel completely unaccepted, adrift in a world that seems to offer no comfort. This piece captures the deep solitude of that experience, a raw and poignant reflection. This is “No One Accepts Me.”
Improvisation “Outer Shell” We now venture to the edge of perception, beyond familiar limits, beyond conventional understanding. This improvisation leads us to the “outer shell,” a place where all dualities fade and the known yields to an infinite void. Prepare for “Outer Shell.”
Strukturo Finally, we arrive at a climax, a reflection on the framework of our reality. From unseen marches to the furthest boundaries of thought, each element contributes to the grand design. Our final piece invites you to consider the underlying blueprint of existence. This is “Strukturo.”
What an incredible journey through sound and emotion.
The Grand Encore For those who wanted more, the audience enthusiastically called for an “ENCORE” in the chat, prompting two more captivating pieces: “Alpha for Finale” and “Cremation.” It was an amazing experience!
Thank you, Tia Rungray, for that unforgettable performance.
The Art Behind the Music What made this concert truly special was the skilled collaboration with Cain Evergarden. As the creative stage director and owner of “Paradiso” and “CLUB Beatrice,” Cain, along with Tia, created an art installation that was truly innovative. This was not just a stage; it was a living canvas where music and light intertwined, reacting to each other in real time. The visual artistry perfectly matched the sonic journey, creating an immersive scene that many guests described as “never before seen”. We are grateful to Cain for helping Tia build this amazing artistic environment where every note found its visual counterpart.
The outpouring of appreciation from our guests has been incredible, and we are very thankful. Moments like these truly define what Second Life is about: a platform for high-quality art, live music, and immersive experiences that expand the limits of creativity. As Tia’s PR, I am deeply appreciative of the beauty of the art and the depth of Tia’s music shared with so many.
Relive the Magic! Didn’t make it or want to experience it again? You’re in luck!

Second Life’s digital art world is always changing, with new artists bringing fresh ideas. Among these creators, some stand out because their work connects with people deeply. Carelyna is one of these artists. Her pictures speak to viewers and show her love for art. On July 15th, at 12 PM SLT, Carelyna will present “Soul Frames”, a big exhibition of her work, at Souland Gallery. The event will also feature music by Traci Ultsch.
Looking at a Carelyna photography is like pausing a moment in time. Her photos capture feelings very clearly. She says that her photos are new canvases, where she uses the computer instead of paints and brushes. She calls her style photopainting because it blends photography with painting. This name fits because her work has the feel of a painting and touches people’s emotions.
Carelyna’s life story is as interesting as her art. She grew up on a boat and took many art classes as a child where she mastered oil paints. These experiences helped her develop her artistic skills. Even though life took her in different directions, she kept her artistic spirit alive. She sees creating art as therapy for her soul and a fun way to express myself, not as a way to become famous. This sincere approach is what makes her art so special.
“I do not plan”, she says. “I just let things happen. I enjoy seeing new places and trying new things. Sometimes, I feel a special energy inside, so I stop and take a picture”. This natural process helps her catch the feeling of the moment. Her pictures become a personal diary of her experiences. Inspired by life and love, each piece shows an emotional side, inviting viewers to think about their own feelings.
“Soul Frames” at Souland Gallery is more than just a show; it celebrates Carelyna’s journey. It is a collection of her old and new works. People who know her art will enjoy seeing this collection, and newcomers will get a good introduction to her style.
Carelyna is also dedicated to the Second Life art community. In 2014, she started ArtCare Gallery with the help of Kurk Mumfuzz. She enjoyed being a curator and gave many artists a place to show their work. She feels glad to have been a Mentor to others. Now, she is thankful that Julana is providing a permanent place for her art, which shows how much her work is valued.
Be sure to save the date! On July 15th at 12 PM SLT, come see Carelyna’s “Soul Frames” exhibition at Souland Gallery. Let the beautiful pictures and music by Traci Ultsch move you. This event is a chance to connect with the soul of a talented artist.
On July 9th at 1 PM, get ready to be surrounded by amazing art as Elvira Mistwood presents her long-awaited retrospective exhibition, “Summer Wine”. The event will be held at the well-known Souland Gallery, and it promises to be an inspiring look at an artist’s 20-year creative development.
“Summer Wine” is more than just an exhibition; it’s a chance to experience something special. Elvira, an artist who feels strongly about both digital and classic forms, shows a beautiful collection of her work. You can look forward to a wide-ranging approach that covers two decades, during which she shows how skilled she is in many different fields. The name “Summer Wine” makes you think of warmth and energy, which you’ll feel as you walk through the exhibition’s colorful and meaningful collection.
So, who is Elvira Mistwood?
She’s a true artistic all-rounder. Elvira, who has an art degree from the real world (RL), started out making art with figurative and symbolic-mythological pictures. But her creativity knows no limits. Her digital artworks show how creative she is. She uses many programs and tries things out a lot to create them. This commitment to trying new things is a key part of her career. She combines different traditions in a very personal way, often adding a mystical or experimental touch.
Elvira has a lot of experience putting together events that change people. She has started and arranged a number of themed exhibitions in both Second Life (SL) and RL, always with the goal of encouraging artistic conversation and interaction. She even likes Dark art, which shows how varied and free-thinking her creative vision is. Besides painting and making digital art, Elvira is also a researcher who has released fantasy stories and articles.
You might know her sponsored Gallery 9MUSES,which is named after the inspiring figures in Greek Mythology. While 9MUSES will temporarily have a variety of pieces, most of Elvira’s personal works are now on display at Souland Gallery, with a few pieces also in Amsterdam.
To make this event even better, DJ Bast will play a special music set at Souland Gallery, which will go well with the artistic mood. Get ready for an afternoon where art and sound come together to make a memorable experience for your senses.
Don’t miss this great chance to see how wide and deep Elvira Mistwood’s artistic work is.
Come to Souland Gallery and let the “Summer Wine” exhibition take you away.
