Tia Rungray, an electroacoustic music project masterfully self-produced by Noami Takayuki, transcends the boundaries of traditional music. Advocating the genre of noise classical, Tia’s journey began with the release of the groundbreaking album, ‘Foresta,’ in May 2013.
May 2013: The Birth of ‘Foresta’ – Tia Rungray’s sonic voyage commenced with the release of the inaugural album, “Foresta.” A glimpse into a world where conventional norms are subverted by artistic ingenuity.
April 2018: ‘MindgEsso’ Unleashed – The album “MindgEsso,” released in April 2018 under the “Cat&Bonito” label, garnered acclaim and even caught the attention of renowned composer Akira Senju, who remarked that it bore the “air of the future.”
March 2019: Visual Spectacle – Tia’s music video ‘Dancing Fly in My Head’ emerged, a collaborative effort with director Kenji Agata, in association with the Akira Senju Office, Tokyo University of the Arts COI, and YAMAHA.
July 2020: ‘Juvenile’ Collaboration – A new chapter unfolded with the release of the album “Juvenile” in July 2020, a testament to Tia Rungray’s ever-evolving artistry, in collaboration with Yorihisa Taura.
August 2020: Artistic Recognition – The music video ‘Soft Strings’ earned recognition in the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s arts support program ‘Yell for Art,’ solidifying Tia’s status as an avant-garde virtuoso.
June 2022: Second Life Debut – Tia Rungray made a grand entrance into the metaverse, captivating audiences at the “Second Life 19th Birthday (SL19B) Music Fest.”
August 2022: ‘Ghostmarch’ Unleashed – Another masterpiece, the album “Ghostmarch,” emerged in August 2022, a testament to Tia’s enduring creative prowess.
