CONNECTIONS by MiuMira

I am delighted and proud to introduce this month’s artist, MiuMira—a truly emerging talent.
MiuMira possesses a unique style characterized by delicate, translucent, and watercolor-like qualities, often portraying (parts of) herself in various dreamy moments. For this exhibition, she has chosen to present monochrome images. However, her Flickr portfolio reveals her adept use of light colors in her artwork.
This exhibition offers a glimpse into MiuMira’s perspective on life and her process of decomposing thoughts and emotions—the mind and the heart.

Description of the exhibition by the artist:

The quote by Margaret Atwood, “In the end, we all become stories,” resonates deeply within me. We are the authors of our lives, creating our own beautiful adventures and deciding on the main characters within our book.

I believe that connections give meaning and purpose to our lives. The greatest connection is between our own mind, heart, and emotions—the way we see and feel things, and how we translate them afterward in our unique way.
I am grateful to Dido for giving me this opportunity to share pieces of my work at her gallery. I sincerely hope that somehow, you can feel the connections within.
