“About Journeys and the Unknown” by Kirjat Umarov at Haiku’s Gallery in The Akipelago

Join us on June 29th at 12 PM for an immersive journey into the world of art and self-discovery as Haiku’s Gallery in The Akipelago proudly presents “About Journeys and the Unknown” featuring the remarkable works of Kirjat Umarov. This exhibition showcases 15 exquisite images inspired by Kirjat’s travels around the globe, capturing the essence of exploration and introspection.

Kirjat Umarov, a talented freelance graphic designer and artist based in Hamburg, Germany, masterfully blends “Concept & Layout” and “Information graphics” in his art. His acrylic glass paintings are vibrant abstractions of familiar objects and places, reflecting his deep study of European art history, philosophy, and Christian theology. Kirjat’s works often depict everyday human interactions and minimal geometric shapes set in surreal environments, evoking powerful cultural and historical narratives.

Having traveled extensively to the former Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, and the Arab world, Kirjat’s art is a rich tapestry of religious themes and diverse cultural influences. Since 2018, he has been a prominent member of the studio community S21 in Hamburg. Explore a wide range of his works on Instagram.

DJ Aeleen Tomsen will set the mood with an eclectic mix of tunes, making this event an unforgettable experience. Connect with DJ Aeleen’s music community on Second Life and discover more on Flickr.
